How to Create Custom Serving Sizes
Learn how to create and edit custom serving sizes for your foods.
Creating and editing serving sizes are done in two different places in the app. You create serving sizes directly on the product, while you edit them from the library.
Creating a Custom Serving Size
- Open the food logger and select a product.
- Tap the default serving under Serving Size.
- Tap Create Size.
Select how you want to define the base unit for your nutrition data: Per 100g or Per 100ml.
Use these options to enter values based on standard 100g or 100ml nutrition labels.
- For mass (100g): If an egg weighs 62g, set the portion quantity to
1, the portion name toegg, and the weight to62. - For volume (100ml): If a bottle holds 500ml, set the portion quantity to
1, the portion name tobottle, and the volume to500.
This lets you log by portion, such as "1 egg" or "1 bottle", without converting units manually.
Tap Save when you're done.
Editing a Custom Serving Size
