How to Perform Standing Calf Raise (Barbell)

    Add the appropriate amount of weight and place the barbell across your upper traps.

    Stand on the edge of a step or raised surface with the balls of your feet on the edge and heels hanging off.

    Engage your abs and take a breath.

    Press upward by extending your ankles, squeezing your calves at the top and exhale.
