Gympal offers two simple ways to plan your training. Routines let you build a single workout template you can reuse anytime, while programs combine multiple routines into a clear schedule for your week.

1. What are Routines?

A routine is a workout template you can create once and reuse to log workouts instead of building them from scratch every time.

A routine is a single workout session with specific exercises, sets, and reps.

  • Example: "Push Day" with bench press, shoulder press and tricep dips.
  • Can be used once or repeated multiple times.

2. What are Programs?

Structured plan that combines multiple routines.

  • Example: "Upper/Lower Split" alternating upper body and lower body routines you have added
  • Following a program will automatcally give you the correct workout for the specific day
